AFNI Bootcamp
June 3-7, 2019 - Lucca, Italy
The IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca organizes an AFNI Bootcamp, as a satellite event of the upcoming Annual Meeting of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM Rome 2019).
The AFNI Bootcamp will be held in Lucca (Italy) on June 3-7, 2019.
This is a course designed to teach participants the details of volume- and surface-based FMRI analysis using AFNI and SUMA software.
The program is a 5-Day intensive workshop, that includes lectures on pre- and post processing of FMRI data (image registration, intra- and inter-subject statistical analysis with linear regression, deconvolution, ANOVA) hands on sessions (covering statistical analysis, ROI drawing, volume rendering, surface mapping, etc.), and seminars on the basic principles of FMRI physics and experiment design.
Please note that the course is aimed at people who are already doing FMRI, and it is not an introduction to how FMRI works -- it is an introduction to the use of AFNI and SUMA for analysis of FMRI data.
Drs. Robert W. Cox, Gang Chen and Paul Taylor, from the Scientific and Statistical Computing Core of the NIMH Intramural Research Program, will be conducting the workshop.
Classes will be held at the IMT School Campus and the neighbor San Micheletto Complex.
A preliminary schedule is available here: AFNI Bootcamp at IMT Lucca (July, 2019).
Participants are expected to use their own laptop but they could be provided with a full computer setup.
